Tim Flach

Renowned UK photographer Tim Flach will be exhibiting a series of his animal portraits at Gayfield Square between 13-30th July. Crossing the divide between a commercial photographer and fine artist his work often examines the anthropomorphism of creatures often in an abstract way.

Luigi Giannetti

Luigi Giannetti was born in Cassino, on February 9th, 1963. His prominently anthropological photography analyzes reality through light in its several declinations, underlining the implications between image and document. It casts a strong light upon an apparently casual composition, which is in fact formal and well-construed. He has been praised for his publications Pastorizia and Religiosity; some of the images for this exhibition have been taken from the latter.

Bartek Furdal

The photographer and author of this exhibition was born in the small town of Naleczow Poland in 1983. This southeast spa retreat is popular for those suffering from heart complaints, diabetes and many others ailments. Almost 10 years ago Bartek left Poland and came to Edinburgh to study photography. In 2013 he was inspired to create a project based around his home town's inhabitants.
